Exec Pastor Robert J Rochford Jr. & Archbishop Robert J Rochford Sr.
New Life provided a strategic location for CTAP charging and overnight parking, as it is accessible to local drivers and serves as a halfway point between two additional CTAP-affiliated DC fast charging stations in Brooklyn.
Funding
The partnership includes a lease agreement, which provides New Life with a new source of income from previously underutilized parking space. The project was financed by BlocPower and funded by Elemental Excelerator, which unlocked additional subsidies from NYSERDA and ConEdison. As a result, the entire project was completed at no cost to New Life Cathedral.
“Catalytic capital is essential for de-risking projects to attract traditional capital and funneling dollars to sectors where it can produce the highest emissions impact.”
